"Maria White" is a Classic Service that is already a legend. For generations it has been the favorite porcelain for weddings and other celebrations. The model for the characteristic shape was a silver teapot from around 1815, which company founder Philipp Rosenthal he brought with him from a trip to England and had it made into porcelain in honor of his wife, the French Countess Maria de Beurges.
